Our Mission

We are dedicated to providing a year-round source of locally produced food to Juneau, Alaska.

Our community is geographically isolated which limits access to fresh produce. Shipping lanes are the relied upon source for fruits and vegetables that often spoil before being consumed. As locals we understand the need for a locally based reliable food source. As farmers we know how to grow. As a community we can begin to feed ourselves.

Windows separate our growing space from storefront, showing you exactly how we grow produce indoors year round. Come by to shop for local goods, talk gardening, or sample some of the delicious foods our region has to offer.

About Us

Panhandle Produce was founded in 2013 when Kylie and Eli Wray began growing basil and cucumber seedlings in their apartment. They have since grown their passion into a hobby business that supplies fresh, high quality produce to multiple farmers markets around the Juneau area.

The couple are both born and raised in Juneau, the community they operate business in. Their local foods storefront open in February of 2018 to supply a year round source of local foods. Selection rotates based on seasonal availability which is supplemented by the in-house grown  microgreens and cucumbers.

Check in frequently for more updates.
