The indoor vertical farm facility is view-able during business hours through our partition window. Come see the variety of produce grown in-house that are harvested once a week for in-house sales.
Everything is grown indoors using an active living soil and compost tea. No crops are sprayed with harmful chemicals or pesticides, providing a safer and healthier product for everyone.
Panhandle Produce was founded in 2013 when Kylie and Eli Wray began growing basil and cucumber seedlings in their apartment. They have since grown their passion into a hobby business that supplies fresh, high quality produce to multiple farmers markets around the Juneau area.
The couple are both born and raised in Juneau, the community they operate business in. Their local foods storefront open in February of 2018 to supply a year round source of local foods. Selection rotates based on seasonal availability which is supplemented by the in-house grown microgreens and cucumbers.
